Meet Andrew and Bryn DeFusco
We are the founding and managing attorneys of DeFusco Law, P.L.C. As long-time residents of the Valley, we are deeply committed to our community. We are happily married, and when not working enjoy spending time with our two children.
Prior to forming DeFusco Law, Andy was a partner of DeFusco & Udelman, P.L.C., a law firm that he co-founded in 1995, where he fought for the rights of those injured or otherwise harmed by others. The practice was devoted to representing accident victims, crime victims, and victims of unreasonable conduct by insurance companies. Andy was privileged to represent many amazing people and guide them through what has often been the most difficult time in their lives.
In 2015, Andy was awarded the highest peer review rating, AV preeminent 5.0 out of 5, by the prestigious lawyer rating service, Martindale-Hubbell, and also holds a perfect Client Review rating with Martindale-Hubbell (5.0 out of 5). Andy also carries a perfect “Superb” 10.0 rating with AVVO, another lawyer rating service, which is a testament to his legal experience, industry recognition and professional conduct.
Bryn was a trial attorney with the Office of Public Advocate for nine years before starting with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in 2012. In 2006, she was recognized by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for her outstanding contributions to the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Teen Court Programs. She was also nominated for the Arizona Public Defender Association’s Rising Star Award. Bryn sits on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest, New Life Center Domestic Violence Shelter and Sequoya Elementary Association of Parents and Teachers. Her past and present volunteers organizations include the Treasure House, Business United for Scottsdale Schools (BUSS), Girl Scouts, Parents of Murdered Children, Arizona Special Olympics, 4Mati Foundation and Maricopa County Teen Court.

Meet Racheal Gilbert
Racheal Gilbert brings fifteen years of paralegal experience to DeFusco Law, P.L.C. She has worked with Andrew DeFusco since 2010 and has extensive knowledge on the medical-legal issues involved in personal injury and wrongful death matters. Racheal is especially empathetic of the difficulties our clients face as they attempt to get their lives back in order. She works very closely with our clients, from the initial consultation until case resolution, and takes tremendous pride in ensuring that our clients are treated with the level of personal service and attention they deserve. Racheal is happily married and the mother to four children.
While our practice is located in Scottsdale, we represent clients throughout the state of Arizona and nationwide who have suffered loss here in Arizona as a result of the negligent or wrongful conduct of others. We maintain a low-volume practice and do not charge a fee for an initial consultation. Our advanced videoconferencing capabilities allow us to interact face-to-face with clients located in the more remote areas of Arizona and around the world.
Because we maintain a referral-based low-volume practice and strive to provide a high level of personal service, we typically accept cases that involve significant damages. If it appears that we cannot assist, where appropriate we will provide a complimentary referral to other attorneys.
